Dr. Rathnakar K born in 1964, and descendant of people of Dakshina Kannada origin. Graduated from the faculty of sciences and also from the faculty of Law. Started career as a marketing executive with reputed pharmaceutical company Ranbaxy Labs and Multinational company BOEHRINGER MANNHEIM Germany. He was later involved in beginning the new marketing setup called Propaganda cum distribution for major Indian Pharmaceutical companies.

In the year 2000, started his own Company of manufacturing Ayurvedic medicines in the name of CARAM Healthcare with the aim of producing genuine and high-efficiency herbal medicine and Novel formulations for the benefit of the general public.

For his contributions, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Virtual University of Distance Education, recognised by the UGC in the year 2017.

Currently under his stewardship, the company has a great name and fame in the field of Ayurveda across India and contributed to the respect our Karnataka commands in the field of Ayurveda.
